The Penalty screens at Houston's multidisciplinary, artist-run nonprofit, 14Pews!

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with co-director Will Francome, Lee Greenwood, whose son Joseph Nichols was executed in 2007 and writer, professor and activist Lacy Johnson, whose memoir books The Reckonings and The Other Side both tell of when she was kidnapped, raped and held hostage by her ex-boyfriend in 2000.
